The Ramsgate Hovercraft was formed in 2012 by Mark Bandola (The Lucy Show, Typewriter) and Kit Jolly to explore their common interest in a range of music including jazz, krautrock, prog rock, classical & avant-garde with an emphasis on improvisation. From 2014 to 2017 they were joined by drummer Paula Frost (Ray Gun, Thee Dagger Debs). In 2015 keyboard player Paul Naudin (PNAK) joined the band.
